Dizziness / Vertigo

Vertigo is the sensation of spinning, which are sometimes called dizzy spells, that either feel like the world is spinning around you or you are spinning.

There are two different types of headaches known as peripheral vertigo which is the most common type of vertigo that is caused by inner ear problems. Peripheral vertigo makes you feel dizzy and with the feeling of spinning. The second type of vertigo is central vertigo that is caused by a disease or injury to the brain.

  • Symptoms of vertigo include

  • Spinning

  • Tilting

  • Swaying

  • Unbalance

  • Pulling to one direction

  • Feeling nauseated

  • Abnormal or jerking eye movements

  • Headaches

  • Sweating

  • Ringing in ear or hearing loss

These symptoms can last for a few minutes to a few hours, or they may come and go.
